Abstract

Objective. To analyze the cognitive factors of remission in alcohol dependence with comorbid recurrent depression, with an emphasis on data from systematic reviews and meta-analyses. Methods. A narrative synthesis of data from randomized controlled trials, cohort and observational studies, systematic reviews, and meta-analyses published between 2000 and 2026. Searches were conducted in PubMed, Web of Science, Scopus. Results. The results of studies characterizing the degree and structure of cognitive deficits, as well as their psychological and neurophysiological mechanisms in the context of remission formation, are summarized. Conclusion. Promising directions for further research and the potential application of the obtained data in the development of individualized treatment are outlined.
